Hello everyone! If you haven't noticed (you probably would have if you watch TVNZ, because they seem to have decided to advertise it) it's Matariki! A lot has been happening around Matariki (such as the kite day on top of Mt Roskill), or will be, and so we have been learning a lot about Matariki. If you were curious about the title, it's some of the different names for Matariki. In reading, we made a Google Slides about it, and here it is! And you aren't the only person who learned something. I had no idea that anyone said there were 7, not 9. I also had no idea that Taranaki couldn't see Matariki. If you were wondering when the Mt Roskill Kite Day is, it's on the 8th of July.
